I decided I need to post more pictures of Dreyson. I have so many of Jena on here. So here are a few I took tonight before and after bathtime.

Lagoon

Kevin, Jena, and I went to Lagoon this weekend. (or as Jena calls it "A goon") It was so fun. We left Dreyson home with my parents. I couldn't decide if it was going to be fun taking Jena with us, or if it was going to be a nightmare. We thought she would either love it, or she would be scared of everything and we would end up being miserable. But, it ended up being a blast! She loved every minute of it. I was so proud of her. She wasn't scared to ride anything! It was so fun to see how excited she was to ride everything. She cried whenever we had to get off. We had such a fun day!

I was so proud of Jena on this ride. If any of you have rode on these little cars, you know they can be a little tricky. I had to keep telling Jena "Turn your wheel. Turn your wheel" over and over and over! She kept getting stuck on the side of the wall. I could tell she was getting pretty upset that her car wouldn't move. She finally turned her wheel enough to get unstuck, and she just let go and said" I did it! I did it!" while the car just turned in circles. It was pretty funny to watch.

I thought for sure the next day Jena would sleep in because we were all so exhausted. I thought I would have to wake her up for church. Nope! She was up bright and early about 6:30! After church though, she fell asleep eating her lunch. She is so funny!

Sprinklers and Way dee Bugs!

Jena got this sprinkler for her birthday, so we finally decided to try it out yesterday afternoon. It was so fun watching her run through it. She loved it! She also makes me laugh because she hates bugs. All bugs are "Way dee bugs" (ladybugs) to her. Even if its an ant, or spider, or anything, she comes running" Eww Eww, Waydee bug! Waydee bug!" She always has to "ROAR" at them, like she's going to scare them away. Its hilarious!

She didn't want to take off her swimming suit after she was done, so I let her play in it the rest of the night.

He's growing up!

What a stud! Not only does he have the cutest outfit on, but I love his hair! I don't ever want to cut it!


We decided to try out the Bumbo. I don't think his head and neck are quite ready yet, but it was worth a try. He looks like such a big boy sitting in there.
Dreyson loves Jena!

I always thought people were crazy when they would say that about their little tiny babies, but its true. Whenever Jena is around, and holding still long enough for Dreyson to look at her, he grins from ear to ear. He was looking at Jena here. I set Dre on the floor to watch me while I practiced the piano and pretty soon, he fell asleep. Cute!!

Happy Birthday Jena!

Today is my little Jena bugs birthday. I cannot believe that she is already 2! Where has the time gone? We had such a fun day. She got to open her presents first thing in the morning, before Dad had to go to work. Then she helped me make her birthday cake. She loves to stand on a stool in the kitchen whenever I'm making anything and watch....and try to help. Then I took Jena swimming for her birthday. It was so fun!! At first she didn't really want to get in. She just clung to me. But after a while, she got into it. She was jumping off the side to me and splashing everyone and even loved to go under a little waterfall and get her head all wet. That one surprised me. Then later, we had a party with all the family. Everyone met at the park by my house and we opened presents and had cake and ice cream. Jena is so stinking cute. I just love her to pieces. It was fun making her feel so special because it was "her day." Happy Birthday Jena Bug!

I couldn't resist putting this picture on here. When we got home from the party, we were opening all the rest of the things she got and she put her new crown and sun glasses on together. She is such a funny girl. Doesn't she look beautiful?!

We have been teaching Jena about the Temple. Well, actually, we just have a book of pictures we take to church and there is a picture of the Temple in there so that's all she really knows. She can just recognize that its the Temple. Except now everytime we drive past any church she points and says " Look Mom! Temple!" And I usually very nicely correct her, " Yeah, that's a church, huh?" Well, now she has started correcting me! Now we'll be driving and she'll see a church and say " Look, Temple!" and I'll just humor her and say, " You see the Temple?" and she says " No Mom. Chuuurch." You have to hear how she says it. She holds out the word church. Its so funny! The first time it happened, Kevin and I just started laughing. She does it with everything now too. We were driving in our neighborhood on Saturday and they were having like the "Town Days" for Eagle Mountain. They had the radio station K- BULL 93 out here with that big inflatable bull thing. Well, Jena got all excited. "Look Mom. Big Moose!" And I said, "Oh yeah. Do you see that bull?" And of course, I get "No mom. Moooose!" She is such a funny girl.

Sometimes we can hardly get Jena to take two bites of anything. Dinner this day must have been really good, because she was licking her plate clean. Silly goose!

Dre has started smilng Playing at the park.

Jena loves to go to the park. Every day she asks me, "Mom, I go park, swing, slide?" She loves to be outside.

Here are just some cute pictures of my kids. I think they are so adorable. Jena says and does some of the funniest things. She always makes us laugh. I love being a mom!!

Yesterday we had Dre's baby blessing. He looked so cute!! We got him a little white church shirt and some slacks. We were looking all over for a little tie to go with it. They are no where to be found. So, Kevin had the great idea that we would just cut one of his ties and use the small end of it. I was thinking that we would just use one of Kevin's ties that he didn't really wear anymore, but Kevin wanted to use one of his favorite ties so that it would mean something and be sentimental. Then Kevin had another great idea. He wanted to have matching ties with Dre. So, he took one of his favorite ties and cut it in half. Then he got another tie that he didnt really care about and cut it, and sewed the small half of that one back onto the big one of his favorite tie. That way he could still wear his and then Dre and him would match. It worked so great. What a smart husband I have! I would never have thought of that. They looked so handsome!!
After the blessing, we had a breakfast over at our home. It was so fun. We had so much family and so many friends come to support us and see Dre. It was great to see everyone.
