Family Reunion

When I was little, my mom's side of the family used to have the BEST Christmas parties. They were always so fun! So, this year for our family reunion, my mom decided we were going to have a Christmas party. It was a lot of fun. My mom had it all decorated festive. We played the games we used to- the Left and Right game, and count how many candies are in the jar. They also had a pinata for the kids. 24th of July

We went over to Kevin's parents house for a BBQ on the 24th. All the kids had fun swimming in the little pools and going down the slip and slide. Jena loved it when Kevin would push her down it.

Our Saturday

Kevin has been working really hard this summer on getting our yard looking nice, so today he was out working on it again. I took the kids out to play.

A pumpkin, a witch, and...

Today my kids were at my in-laws house while I went to work. My mother-in-law (Jayne) told me this cute story about Jena. Jayne has this cute little halloween book that Jena loves to look at. So, Jayne was reading it to her and she would point to a picture and ask Jena what it was. She pointed to a princess. "Whats this?" and Jena would reply "A princess" and so she pointed to a pumpkin "Whats this?" "A pumpkin" and then she pointed to a witch "whats this?" "a witch." Well, she got to the picture of a ghost. "Whats this?" and Jena said "Its the Holy Ghost!!" ha!

I just had to share that story because I thought it was so cute!

Jena keeps walking around the house all bent over and swinging one arm. She says she's being a monkey. What a funny girl!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July. We went to the Bee's game. Our kids did really good (even though Dreyson doesn't look very happy in the picture below.) Jena got a little restless sitting there a couple times, but overall, we had a great time. They had fireworks after the game. The noise didn't seem to bother Dreyson or Jena. Jena wasn't very impressed with the fireworks. She was up and down off Kevin's lap during the whole firework show and Dreyson just stared at them.

Parade

We went to the Riverton Parade last week. Jena loved waving to the "pretty girls" and seeing the policemen on their motorcyles.

Rollin Rollin Rollin

Dreyson rolled over for the first time today! It was such a surprise. I didn't think he was so close to doing it. He actually got his other arm out from under him too. I was so proud!

I just love this little guy! He's so fun to have in our home. He is getting to be so smiley!

I'm ready to go!

This morning I told Jena that we were going to run to the post office. While I was getting Dreyson in his carseat, I told Jena to get her shoes on. When I walked over to our door, this is what I found. She was ready to go! Shoes, sunglasses and her purse! Jena thought that I had said we were going to "Papa's office" so the whole time in the car she kept asking about going to Papa's office. "Mom, where going? Papa office?" When we were on our way home, she was pretty sad because we didn't go to Papa's office.
