Its gone!

I cut Drey's hair this morning. I have been wanting to cut it off FOREVER, but Kevin kept telling me not to. He wanted me to grow it out. Finally, we had a deal that I could cut it after this last weekend, so I finally did it. It was a little bitter sweet. I have been begging Kevin to just let me cut it off, but when I finally could, I was a little sad to see his cute curls go.

Happy Birthday to us!

Jena and I celebrated our birthday last friday. I cannot believe my little Jena bug is 3 already! She is such a little sweetheart. She is our little chatterbox and talks our ear off all the time, but we love it. She has the funniest little personality.

We had a fun day. My mom and I took her to see the movie "Up" and then to "Old McDonalds" for lunch. (that's what Jena calls it) Later we had cake and ice cream and just played outside and hung out at home.

A few weeks before her birthday, we were outside and Jena was riding her bike. She saw a little girl across the street riding a scooter. She came up to me and in the sweetest little voice said, "Mom, I wish I could have a scooter for my birthday." AWW...it totally melted my heart. How could I not get one for her? She was so excited!!

I also have to blog about this because I thought it was so nice. Saturday night my cute hubby threw a surprise party for us with some of our friends and our parents. It was so fun! I sure was surprised. I had been up at my parents that day. So around dinner time, he calls and said that we were going to dinner with his parents. I was supposed to meet him at his parents house and we would go from there. Well, then he tells me that he has to run home and get something he forgot, but he would be right back up. That part got me a little suspicious. Since we live about 30 mins. from our parents, its not like us to just run home to get something and then come right back. We'll just go home and stay home. So, I end up going to his parents and they tell me that Kevin called and said there is terrible traffic, so we're going to head down to my house and pick him up then eat at a restaurant in Saratoga. So...of course I just listen to them and believe them. Anyways, we get to my house and everyone is there. We had a BBQ and then cake and ice cream. I was so impressed. Kevin did a great job organizing everything. Thanks Kev! You're the best husband ever!!

We love our Drey!

How could you not love this little guy?! Isn't he so cute? He has become quite the little climber and gets into and on top of everything. He keeps me busy and running all the time, but I sure do love him!

I have found Drey like this a few times now. I guess he's just following in Jena's ways. She used to fall asleep while eating a lot. So cute!

Wahoo!

I am so excited it is almost summer. Kevin is finally out of school for the summer. It is so great having him home at nights. Kevin and I just got back from a trip to Disneyland. It was SO fun! I feel a little guilty because we left the kids home with Kevin's sister and went just the two of us. Oh well, we will take them there someday. Just a few pictures from our trip.

If you talked to me before we went, you knew Kevin was not excited about Disneyland. It was all my idea to go and I love Disneyland!! I think this picture shows you just how excited we both were about being there...

One of our favorite parts of the trip was getting pictures with the characters. We only did it for Jena. We knew she would think it was so cool that we had pictures with them...and she did!

We also went to a Dodgers game.

Everyone told us before we went that if we went to a Dodgers game that we HAD to have a Dodger Dog. Well...Kevin and I waited in line for (no joke) at least a half an hour for a Dodger Dog. It could have been even longer....we waited FOREVER!! And then we finally got them and....its just a plain old hot dog. Nothing special on them or anything! We waited in line for this?? I guess at least we can say we had a Dodger Dog.
